Annual General Meeting (Financial Year 2023-24)
Dear members,
On behalf of the Mgt. Committee of Jaffna University Graduates Association (JUGA) in Australia,
we are pleased to invite you to the Jaffna University Graduates Association’s Annual General
Meeting (AGM) for the Financial Year 2023/2024.
AGM will be held on Saturday 11th of November 2023 commencing at 6.30 pm (AEST) at
Kurrajong Room, Wentworthville Community Centre, 2, Lane Street, Wentworthville, NSW-2145.
You should be a financial member to be eligible to vote at AGM or to become a committee
member. If you bought an entrance ticket ($40) of Mingle-Night – 2023, you will also be a
financial member of JUGA subject to fulfill other requirements for becoming a financial member.
If you are unable to attend the AGM, we encourage you to complete the proxy form attached
herewith and follow as per the constitution of JUGA, which is available here.
The proxy form should be returned by mail to PO Box 771, LPO Toongabbie, NSW 2145 or via
contact@juga.org.au by 9.30am (AEST) on or before 8th of November 2023.
If you are not a financial member, please submit your dully filled application for membership via
contact@juga.org.au on or before 4th of November 2023. Alternatively, you can subscribe via the

JUGA invites expression of interest for the following positions.
- President
- Vice president
- Secretary
- Assistant Secretary
- Treasurer
- Assistant Treasurer
- Eleven (11) Ordinary committee members
If you are interested in any of the above position(s), please submit your dully filled nominations
via contact@juga.org.au on or before 4th of November 2023. Nomination form is attached
herewith for your convenience.
The ordinary business of the meeting will be:
- The minutes of the previous annual general meeting
- Treasurer’s Report – Audited Financial Statement 2022 -2023
- Project progress reports
- President’s report
- Any other business
- Election of Management Committee for the financial Year 2023-2024
- Votes of thanks and refreshment.
