The JUGA welcomes joining of all Jaffna University graduates plus those that have taught at the University of Jaffna (teaching staff); and living in Australia. These include graduates and the teaching staff of the institutions affiliated with the University of Jaffna.
JUGA membership protocol provides flexibility and accommodates varying member-preferences. Through its associate membership category, JUGA accommodates partners of the graduate members (and the teaching staff). Once applications of the graduate and the associate member have been approved, the couple becomes eligible for JUGA’s family membership. Naturally, where both husband and wife (or those that are in similar relationships) are Jaffna University graduates, they become eligible for the family membership. The fee structure of these membership categories are detailed in the Constitution.
